Night Prayer

"Do not be afraid; just have faith!"

We will hear these words this weekend in the Gospel of Mark.

Jesus is speaking to you and to me!

He is speaking to our hearts every single day!

Reminding us to take heart and to have courage!

Do not be afraid; just have faith!

Through prayer we can begin and end our day.

Prayer takes away fear and helps us to have faith.

Through prayer we can grow closer to God!

God come to my assistance. Lord, make haste to help me!

Canticle of Simeon

“Lord, now you let your servant go in peace; your word has been fulfilled: my own eyes have seen the salvation which you have prepared in the sight of every people: a light to reveal you to the nations and the glory of your people Israel.”

Glory be to the Father,

and to the Son,

and to the Holy Spirit.

As it was in the beginning,

is now, and ever shall be,

world without end.

Amen.

"Protect us, Lord, as we stay awake;watch over us as we sleep,

that awake we may keep watch with Christ,

and asleep, rest in His peace."
