Gabbie's Prayer
Take this Heart
Gabbie wrote this prayer on May 6th, 2022 after a difficult and seemingly hopeless heart appointment. She kept this prayer to herself, and then felt prompted by the Lord to share it with others as a prayer for hope. She designed this prayer card and shared it with anyone and everyone she felt might be blessed by it.
The Image Chosen
Gabbie came to know and love the artwork of Erin McAtee - a friend of the Sisters of Life. When choosing an image to fit this prayer, she went on Erin's website and asked Blessed Mother to help her find the right one. She chose this image - Mary's Heart, full of wounds from her swords of sorrow she endured.
The Words Prayed
This litany flowed from Gabbie's broken heart during a time of adoration. The quote at the bottom are words spoken to her by Fr. Barnett around this same time. After hearing her story, he encouraged her to offer everything to Jesus, and that encouragement was a transforming moment in her life.​​
