Words of Hope

"Do not be afraid."

Those are the words the angel Gabriel declared to Mary.

Words of hope.

Everything will be okay.

Mary hoped in the Lord.

She chose hope over fear.

She became the Mother of the Savior of the World.

Mary did not know what that would entail.

Yet, her response was, "Behold, I am the hand maiden of the Lord."

She gave her yes.

She trusted in God and gave us hope.

"For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it." Romans 8:24-25

Trust in this message of hope.

Be not afraid!

Hope will not disappoint!
