Ten years ago today my cousin Jake went to go be with Jesus in heaven.

Though I never had the privilege of really knowing Jake, I feel as if I have known him forever.

I was nine years old when Jake had enough of fighting cancer.

I remember hearing he had passed away very clearly in my mind.

His funeral was the biggest funeral I attended and the first funeral I had bawled my eyes out at.

Ever since Jake went to be in heaven, I have felt so close to him.

I ask for Jake's intercession as I pray for my healing and the healing of others.

This may sound crazy since I've never even spoken with Jake on earth...

But now that he is with Jesus, I talk and talk and talk with him.

Jake, you are missed.

You touched so many lives, even the lives you didn't know.
