Painting the sky

I thought I’d take a picture of the sky this evening.

There was a warm light shining from heaven.

A couple minutes later, I felt compelled to look back up at the sky and announced,

“Jen’s painting the sky!”

I only had 10 weeks with Jennifer on earth.

She’s been painting the sunsets for 29 years from heaven.

Pink clouds filled the sky for a moment and then disappeared.

We are only here for a moment.

Today we listened to Christmas music and thought of little ways to celebrate Jennifer Rose’s joy.
