Only Hope

"Do not lose hope; St. Joseph also experienced moments of difficulty, but he never lost faith and was able to overcome them, in the certainty that God never abandons us." Pope Francis

This quote showed up in the mail today from the Sisters of Life.

It made me think of a friend who shared a difficult experience.

All doors seemed closed for him.

He said, "God was his only hope."

God was with him.

Closed doors couldn't stop God from opening something beautiful.

God opened His heart.

He gave him grace to hope.

"One who has hope lives differently." Pope Benedict XVI

God wants to do more than just open doors for us.

He wants to open our hearts.

Have faith. Have trust. Have hope!
