Jesus, I trust in You

Election Day is here.

I voted.

I voted for the unborn, the voiceless.

I voted against the culture of death.

That is said not to applaud myself but spoken to defend the innocent and fight for dignity of human life.

Last night as I was falling asleep I prayed the Litany of Trust

“That not knowing what tomorrow brings is an invitation to lean on You

Jesus, I trust in You.”

After the turn-around yesterday, this part of the Litany of Trust stood out to me.

We do not know what the outcome of this election will be but we do know we can lean on Him and trust in His plan.
