BEST Caramel Corn EVER Recipe
Ingredients:
Popcorn kernels
Brown sugar
Butter
Karo syrup (corn syrup)
Vanilla
Baking Soda

Oven Temp - 250 degrees
Pop two batches of air popped popcorn (2/3 c. kernels per batch)
Sift out any “old maids” and put popped corn in stainless steel bowl
Mix together the following ingredients and bring to a boil.
1 cup of butter
2 cups of brown sugar
1/2 cup of Karo syrup (corn syrup)
1/2 teaspoon of salt
After mixture comes to a boil, remove from heat and add:
1 tablespoon of vanilla
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
Stir until incorporated.
Pour boiled ingredients over popcorn and mix together in a bowl.
We use a giant stainless steel bowl.
Bake at 250 degrees, stirring every 15 minutes for one hour.
