My sister Maddie shared with our family the St. Patrick's Breastplate Prayer.
Yesterday, I shared the St. Patrick "Christ be with me" prayer.
That prayer is part of the St. Patrick's Breastplate Prayer.
It is a beautiful prayer and I encourage you to read all of it.
I wanted to share the first stanza and last stanza with you today.
St. Patrick Breastplate Prayer
I bind unto myself today
The strong Name of the Trinity,
By invocation of the same,
The Three in One and One in Three.
I bind unto myself the Name,
The strong Name of the Trinity;
By invocation of the same.
The Three in One, and One in Three,
Of Whom all nature hath creation,
Eternal Father, Spirit, Word:
Praise to the Lord of my salvation,
Salvation is of Christ the Lord.
This is a powerful prayer!

To whom and to what do I bind myself to?
This is a choice we make everyday.
Christ be with me,
In the Name of the Trinity,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
