To know Gabbie is to love Gabbie.
I once heard a powerful saying from my great aunt: “I want to be a friend like Jesus.” My sister Gabbie truly embodied this quote. She was the most faithful friend.
When I reflect on Gab and how she was, the word “Christ like” comes to mind. Gabbie never pushed her way in, but was always there, waiting for you to welcome her into your joy, celebrations, sadness, grief, pain, confusion, loneliness, fear. Gabbie held the most compassion and authenticity in those spaces. When you rejoiced, Gabbie rejoiced with you. When you wept, Gabbie wept with you.
Gabbie would always rejoice in other peoples victories and celebrations. You could feel her authentic joy…

gabs was the best cousin anyone could ask for. whether we spent our time making and laughing at inside jokes(#babyyoda), grabbing coffee, learning new card games, or going to adoration, gabbie always found a way to make the world a better place. her laughter would light up the room and i constantly replay the videos i have with her laughing. gabbie always made sure those around her felt loved and appreciated. last year, she made sure to text me a few times a month asking for prayer requests and checking up on me throughout my first year of college. i’m so thankful to have had her check up on me and remind me that she was there for me even…

I have so much I could say about this beautiful soul. She helped take care of Tenley for me on Fridays so I could work at the school (before Tens was in school)—she always texted my kids checking in on them and sharing religious quotes of the day, that always seemed to be just what they needed to hear. She organized cousin get togethers so everyone could stay close. She always invited my kids to adoration with her🥰 the most recent and one I am forever grateful for was her always checking on Taylor during her first year of college and encouraging good friendships and for her to go to mass! You are everything that is good and we will…

Last summer, a few days before Nicole and Dalton’s wedding, Gabs, Maddie, Taylor, and I all went to the church and did a little One Bread One Body concert up in the choir loft. It’s a memory I’ll forever cherish and remember with Gabbie!!!✝️💕😊
