Do Something Great

July 09, 2020

"I want to become a saint; it will not be easy at all. I have a lot of wood to chop and it is as hard as stone. I should have started sooner, while it was not so difficult; but, in any case, 'better late than never.'" St. Zelie Martin

We're all up for another challenge, right?

Let's begin by challenging ourselves to become better human beings.

To become saints.

"The call to evangelize can seem overwhelming. But as we've seen, it begins with a single, brave step to actually walk the talk of the Gospel - and love Jesus by our actions - not our words." Chris Stephen

That's the challenge.

Walk the talk of the Gospel- and love Jesus by our actions - not our words.

Where to begin? How to begin?

"Miss no single opportunity of making some small sacrifice, here by a smiling look, there by a kindly word; always doing the smallest right and doing it all for love." St. Therese of Lisieux

Let's start chopping wood.

Better late than never!

Do something great! Be someone great!

"It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives."

St. Pope John Paul II
